History
The history of LANDI Switzerland dates back to 1964. Much has changed since then. Here is an overview of the milestones:

1984 | UFA Haus & Garten Pfungen AG was founded. Its members were also agricultural cooperative associations: VOLG Winterthur, the St. Gallen Farmers' Association (formerly LV St. Gallen, since 2019 LAVEBA) and GVS Schaffhausen. |
1988 | UFA Haus & Garten AG Berne and UFA Haus & Garten Pfungen AG merged (to form what is now LANDI Switzerland AG). |
1989 | Relocation from Berne and Pfungen to Dotzigen. |
1991 | Adoption of the partnership agreement between the management of UFA Haus & Garten AG and the cooperatives. |

Sponsorship
LANDI Switzerland restricts its sponsorship activities to a few national commitments that aim to strengthen the LANDI brand in general. For instance, LANDI Switzerland is the principal sponsor of EHC Biel/Bienne, the ice-hockey club. These activities are flanked by sponsorship for institutions and associations in and around our headquarters in Dotzigen.
LANDI stores take on individual commitments in connection with local events in order to strengthen links with their regions. For this reason, please contact your local LANDI if you are interested in sponsorship.
