Incoming goods department

The goods are delivered to the warehouses by truck and to a decreasing extent by rail. Processing them efficiently requires pallets compatible with the conveyor system.

Containers are increasingly processed. Unloading these unpalletised goods makes efficient processing particularly important. All goods are given a quality and quantity control upon receipt. Once the pallets have been marked with a preprinted label (SSCC), the goods are ready to be put into storage. As a matter of principle, goods are only ever accepted subject to discrepancies in quantity and quality.
